Good morning/afternoon, whenever this gets posted. It is almost noon time, which means it is almost time to get some lunch. We have had a pretty packed week this week.
Lincoln went to the doctor on Monday to get his ears rechecked--and the infection is GONE, YAHOO!! He is now on medicine to help with the drainage that is still in his middle ear-that can likely cause another infection (we pray that the infection stays away).
We collected shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child on Tuesday night, so Lincoln enjoyed crawling around the church building, as well as climbing up some stairs (which was very impressive). I wish I had my camera--I will never forget how quickly he climbed them, I think he would have went all the way to the top, if i hadn't stopped him.
Thursday night was a night with the sitter (Miss Bailey herself). Brock brought her home after work, so we could get to the show on time (The Lion King). Lincoln didn't really seem to interested in Mommy or Daddy at this point--as soon as he saw Bailey he got very excited.
Today is just a relaxing day, as well as tomorrow (we love those types of weekends around here), or at least Mommy does.

Halloween and more!
Lincoln as Charlie Brown.
Good day! It is so beautiful outside today, with the crisp air and the beautiful sunshine. We just love the fall at the Pickett household.
Lincoln has been up to quite a bit in the last week or so. We went trick or treating on Halloween, to a few places anyway. We got home Friday night, had some dinner (Lincoln did anyway), changed him into his costume and we were off. We went to Miss Joey's house (that is Lincoln's sitter), to Sonya and Brian's , then we were off. We headed north (what we like to call north), to see Grandad, Uncle Brett, Aunt Mooch, Abby, Emma, and Uncle Kyle. That may seem like a lot of stops, but it was only one, which made it nice. We then went to the Fischer's house (our old neighbors and friends), but they weren't home--we hope to see them soon.
And by this time Lincoln was getting a bit fussy, so we headed to Grandad's to stay the night. We really enjoyed our visit with Grandad, and the rest of the family. We got up, and Daddy made omelets for breakfast, Grandad made chili for lunch--we played, took a short nap and visited some more. We headed home around 4 or so, and went to church service--where Lincoln did an excellant job!!!
On Sunday we went to church for a little while with Daddy, while Mommy taught the older kiddos, and then we headed home to meet Uncle Kyle. We then went to IKEA in Cinncinnati. We had a great time!!!!! It was Lincoln's 3rd trip to IKEA, isn't that crazy?
Later on Sunday, Lincoln got pretty cranky, which is out of the normal for him. I thought it was because of the time change (fall back), and I am sure it had something to do with it. But we found out on Monday that Lincoln had an ear infection. I took the day off with him, and we went to see Dr. Todd. Lincoln got the yummy medicine to take for the infection, and some ear drops for pain. You would have never known, except for the tugging of the ears and the fussiness the night before, that he was even sick. He is such an awesome little boy, of course he does have Brock and my genes (ha ha).
The rest of the week was as normal, we visited with Granpa and Grams at their house, had small group and played with friend, spent time playing with George, and well that is about it. By the way, Mom, Lincoln loves the beach ball you gave to him to play with here.
Well I guess I better get busy with some house work, since Lincoln is napping. Have a great week!!!
