Locked and Loaded

Boy...Memorial Day feels like a LLLLOOOOOONNNNGGGGG time ago. I was just thinking this morning that that was exactly how I felt about January 24 on the day we found out about this new little one. But, nonetheless, it is here. This is the final week of our pregnancy and our son is ready and waiting. No new word from the doctor at our appointment this past Friday. Stella is still dilated to 2 and they mentioned again how low he is. So now we are playing a waiting game that will without a doubt end this week. Unless he comes before, Stella will be induced Thursday morning, which happens to be our due date. When the doctor scheduled us for that day, he initially thought that would 40 and a half weeks, and they don't like pregnancies to extend to 41 weeks. So he realized it was our due date and offered to change it, but we decided the 24th it would be. We certainly couldn't run the risk of him being born on my mother-in-law's birthday. ;)

So...we are ready (as much as we are going to be), the boy is ready, and George is ready. We had hoped for an early arrival (end of tax year would have been nice), but I guess my boy insists on being punctual...or his mom is really comfortable. 37 Weeks

Hello family and friends. We are getting closer and closer. We visited the doctor on Thurs. of this past week. We found out that everything is looking good. Praise be to God!!!! We are now dilated to two centimeters and the doctor said my cervix is thinning. We are very excited. This means that the process is moving along, we are not sure how much longer, but the news we found out today makes us more confident.

I was sure to also ask about the size of the baby. The doctor said that the baby is measuring not too big and not too small, so his size is right on. Glory be to God on that one as well!!!!!!!

Anyway, I am not sure what else to say, other than we appreciate your love and prayers. We covet them daily!!!! Take care!! Love you all!!
