First Walk

What a beautiful day it has been! God is so good. Lincoln is now 12 weeks old, and we finally were able to get him out for a walk in his stroller (the four of us--including George). Lincoln did extremely well. He really seemed to enjoy himself, smiling, drooling, kicking, and talking. I just wish I would have gotten a picture of him, I was thinking of it when we were walking, but by time we got back to the house, I forgot.

Lincoln went to Abbi's today for the morning, and spent the afternoon with Brock. The past couple of Friday's Lincoln has spent the afternoon with Daddy. He really seems to enjoy his Daddy--he just stares at him and follows him with his eyes. I think it is the coolest thing.

The picture that is with this blog is one from yesterday. We laid Lincoln down to play on the floor, and George decided he wanted to join in on the fun. Nobody wants to be left out, even the dog sometimes.

Spring is Here (11 weeks old)

Today was a bit chilly, but the past week has been absolutely beautiful. Brock, Lincoln, and I were able to spend some time outside. We were able to clean up a flower bed up front, and clean a little bit in the back--it seems a bit crazy to think that the yard needs mowed soon. Anyway, Lincoln really seemed to enjoy spending time outside, we plan on going for many walks, working in the flower bed, etc.

Lincoln has been doing a lot of talking, kicking his legs, moving his arms (trying to get his thumb in his mouth), lifting his head on his own, and sleeping here lately. He is starting to get on somewhat of a schedule (except for tonight of course-he didn't go to sleeps until 11:30pm). During the night he does an extremely good job sleeping. He gets up once during the middle of the night to eat, and then around 6:30 or 7 in the morning. Brock and I are so proud of Lincoln and the things he is doing.

Tonight he enjoyed a visit with two young ladies from Hazelwood. A high school band from Hazelwood Christian Church came down to play for the youth here, and two of the girls in the band stayed at our house. We had a wonderful time, so wonderful that Lincoln didn't want to go to sleep.

It is hard to believe! Lincoln is growing so fast. He had his 2 month check up last Thursday. He weighed in at 12 pounds 7.5 ounces. He measured 22 and 3/4 inches. Brock and I were somewhat bummed about the fact that the nurse measured him wrong the last time (23 3/4 inches is what we were told), but it really doesn't matter. As long as my precious boy is healthy. He had to have 2 shots in each leg, and didn't like it one bit (who would). He had a great day the rest of the day, which made me very happy. We had given him Tylenol before going to the doctor, so when it was time for his vaccinations he had fallen asleep, which made things more difficult--but we survived.

It is hard for me to fathom that he is already 10 weeks old! Time is flying! He still spends time doing alot of the same things. He has added a few. He is lifting his head quite a bit, cooing so much more (which is the coolest thing), and smiling all the time. He hasn't rolled over since the last time we blogged, but I know he is capable of doing so.

We spent the last week up North visiting with family, so Lincoln is having a hard time readjusting to not being held all the time. He is still such a great baby, so I can't complain.

We will talk to you all soon!
