What a Sweetheart

I know that you all will agree with the title. Lincoln just amazes me more every day!!! I fall in love with him more and more. He makes me the happiest Mommy ever, I know I am being mushy, but I just can't help myself.

Today was a long day. We spent the day at the Ranson household. They had a big yard sale, so we decided to put some items in it. We arrived at their house around 7:30am and didn't arrive back home until about 7:00pm. What a day, what a beautiful day.

When we got home Lincoln spent time in just his diaper playing on his big blanket. He started on his back and rolled over and moved all over the place--it is crazy how mobile he is becoming. After a while he got real sleepy, so he took a 45 minute nap (after having a 3 hour nap this afternoon), which really surprised me.

We have hit another milestone today. Lincoln is 4 months old--eating cereal, rolling over, talking a ton, and so much more. Tomorrow is a big day as well. We will be going to visit with family, watching the race, and eating some good food.

God Bless each of you. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Our Precious Boy

Howdy friends. Today was such a wet, yucky day, but we survived. We have been so busy as a family. We have been shopping for plants, mowing the lawn, cleaning up the yard, going to Bible study, visiting with family, spending time with friends, playing, playing, and playing some more. Today we came home and had Lincoln practice his rolling over. He rolled over again the other day while he was at the sitters--but still hasn't done it for us yet (patience, we know).

Lincoln is quickly growing out of his 0-3 month clothes, and looking more like a little boy every day.. we all know he has always been a little boy... but now he is looking so much older. I am not sure I am ready for that.. but I guess it is bound to happen.

On April 27th Lincoln spent the first night in his crib. He has been sleeping in the bassinet, in our room. It was a big milestone for each of us--and he did a fabulous job!!! We are sooo pleased with how well he is doing.

This weekend is Mother's Day as many of you know and will be celebrating yourselves. We will have the joy of dedicating our little man to the the Lord. What a big day!!!! I will post pictures once we have them. All you mother's out there have a splendid day on Sunday.
